Throughout his career, Scott has worked for many of the country’s top golf courses and golf course designers. As Director of Agronomy for The Woodlands Resort and Club, he supervised the restoration of turf conditions for the Shell Houston Open, earning the Club the distinction of top five courses for “tournament conditions” on the PGA Tour. Scott was responsible for the preparation of the TPC course, which hosted the Shell Houston Open from 1998 to 2001, and for the day-to-day operations for all 81 holes of golf in the Woodlands. He completely remodeled the Oaks Golf Course with Jay Morish and Associates and spearheaded the construction, opening, and grow-in of the new Jack Nicklaus Golf Course.  Prior to his Woodlands association, Scott served as golf course superintendent for the Sunbelt Golf Corporation, which managed the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. During his tenure with Sunbelt he oversaw construction and grow-in of two 54-hole golf facilities, which received Golf Digest’s #2 & #4 ranking in the “Best New Golf Courses” category. ...continue on to page two
